Handstand Workshop 2.0

david-tilston-handstand-workshop.jpg

During the afternoon workshop, we will explore a wide range of different skills that will help you to learn to / improve your, handstand and provide you with the tools to continue practising beyond the weekend.

2.0 stands for the level of the workshop

for more details please see the breakdown below;

Level - 1.0

Wall drills, entries to the wall and handstand conditioning (beginners - 30s plank required)

Level - 2.0

Basic to advanced wall drills, freestanding drills, all entries and freestyle practice (30s minimum wall handstand required)

Level - 3.0

Advanced freestanding drills + press to handstand focus (30s freestanding handstand required)

Although the workshop spans 4 hours there will be plenty of downtime, coffee breaks and time to relax in between inversions.

It is recommended that all participants can hold at least a 30s handstand against the wall, if you can free-stand ... even better. This workshop is primarily aimed at those who have experimented with inversions and want to refine their practice as well as learning how to improve their; alignment, endurance, entries, balance and for those who are keen, to explore more advanced two arm shapes.

This workshop will also help to enhance any form of dynamic yoga asana practice that includes inversions.

The workshop is limited to 12 places as I am keen to provide an in-depth and individual approach to all that attend as well as providing material to work on when you leave the workshop.
