Intuitive Eating Workshop - Connecting To Your Heart To Receive Nourishment

In this workshop, you’ll be gently guided through yoga and meditation practices designed to deepen your connection to your heart centre and explore how this connection shapes your relationship with food.

 Our relationship with food beings with our relationship with ourselves. Yet so many diets distance us from who we are and instead impose rigid rules that fail to provide deep nourishment. They also disconnect us from where our food comes from and the importance of our eating environment. 

 This workshop offers the space to let go of restrictive diet rules and return to your radiant self. You’ll learn how to soften into the heart centre, eat in a relaxed state and create food rituals to nurture your wellbeing and vitality.

This workshop is for you if:

·         You feel called to soften into your heart centre to support self-care

·         You’re curious to know how your emotions and environment impact nourishment

·         You’re ready to learn how food is an offering to yourself and step into your fullness

 

The Structure 

The day will follow the structure below:

10.00 - 10.15                                  Introduction to the day

10.15 – 10.30                 Meditation to connect with your radiant self    

10.30 – 11.30                 Gentle yoga movement to feel the pulsation of life force in the body

11.30 – 11.50                 Break

11.50 – 12.10                 The honied hum meditation

12.10 – 12.40                 Yoga Nidra to deepen into receptivity and inner knowing

12.40 – 12.50                 Journalling

12.50 – 13.00                 Food ritual and blessings  

 The workshop is suitable for all, so no previous experience is necessary. The emphasis will be on making modifications that best suit your own body and needs.

 What to bring

Please bring with you a yoga mat, bolster or cushions, pillows, blankets, a journal and pen.

 About Julia

Julia is registered nutritional therapist and yoga teacher with over 17 years of clinical experience. She holds 1-to-1 consultations with clients across the globe and runs courses on Intuitive and Empowered Eating.
