Spring Awakening Yoga Day Retreat

Join Zoe and Jane for a rejuvenating day of yoga themed around the arrival of Spring.

Spring is a time for new and rising energy. It is the time to work on your foundation within the poses, providing strong roots to grow out of, giving you both strength and stability while embracing new challenges and personal growth.

We will start with breath work exercises focussing on the importance of the breath with movement, to ground and boost immunity and assist with connecting with the subtle energy within and leading into a flowing Vinyasa practice to awaken and invigorate the body. 

There will be a nutritious and nourishing plant-based lunch provided by the resident Crow Spotters.

After lunch the physical practice will be myofascial release therapy to improve range of motion, circulation and to reduce tension by releasing trigger points across a broad section of the muscular system .We will ease our way into a short restorative and gentle somatic practice transitioning into a relaxing yin working with the natural rhythms of nature, focussing on the wood element and the liver and gallbladder health of chi energy in the body via the meridians (energetic channels) which is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The day will culminate with a deeply healing and powerful Nidra meditation also known as Psychic sleep combined with sound healing with Koshi chimes.

Teas/ herbal teas and coffees will be provided throughout the day .
