Venue

The Barn is a stunning purpose-built Pilates Studio nestled next to an enchanting walled garden within the Hinton Admiral Estate. Acres of woodland and an expanse of gardens paint the backdrop for our stunning space which was once the magical play-place of the real Alice in Wonderland.

Schedule

  • Sunshine Energising Flow (weather permitting)

  • Coffee (and cake) break at Crowspotter

  • An opportunity to explore the beautiful grounds and/or relax with a book on the sun deck.

  • Wood-fired sauna session (optional extra £15)

  • Pilates Stretch class in the Barn - a cosy calming class full of gentle movement and yummy stretches. (A short meditation will follow where we make a little nest with cushions and blankets.)

  • Learn how to craft with resin and make your own floral key ring using dried leaves and flowers.

  • Delicious plant-based Crowspotter supper with wine!

Your Host

Charlie Storrie trained at the prestigious London School of Musical Theatre and worked extensively in the industry following graduation as a professional singer and dancer alongside legends including Bernie Clifton, Bella Emberg, Bonnie Lanford and Linda Robson.

On early discovery of a love for teaching, Charlie qualified as a primary school teacher (BA Hons in Primary Ed with QTS) and then as a dance teacher with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA).

She went on to found the renowned Lilac Theatre Dance School in her home town of Lincoln in 2007 whose students were selected two years consecutively to dance alongside the Stars of Strictly Come Dancing in their UK National Tour and later co-founded the Secret Circus Aerial School in Poole whilst moonlighting as a professional Aerialist.

Charlie was introduced to Pilates by her physiotherapist following a multitude of recurring dance injuries and after just one class was completely smitten.

She loved the way she felt rejuvenated and restored after every session and with regular practice soon began to see tremendous benefits particularly in her core strength and posture but also in her general well-being. Becoming a Pilates teacher was the natural progression for Charlie and she can honestly say it was the best decision she ever made.

With a wealth of over 20 years teaching experience within the fitness industry behind her, Charlie strives to create an environment where clients love to learn and share a lifelong passion for Pilates.
