A combination of science-based breathing techniques, gentle diaphragmatic stretches and simple yoga-style exercises to complement the practice, with guided meditation to close the session.
Practiced seated, lying down and walking. Nasal breathing only with the mouth closed and some tolerable breath-holds.

What to wear and bring with you
Comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. Recommend a sports bra for women as underwire can affect the movement of the diaphragm and ribcage.
Your own mat, small cushion or yoga block to sit on/for under your head, water bottle, something warm to cover yourself with, hand sanitizer (some provided on-site).

About Tracey
Tracey Howes is an Advanced Oxygen Advantage Instructor and competitive freediver based in Bournemouth.
Freediving is a form of underwater diving that relies on breath-holding until resurfacing rather than the use of breathing apparatus. This specialist training combined with Tracey’s knowledge of functional breathing techniques provides a unique perspective when working with clients to improve their overall health and fitness.
By incorporating scientifically proven breathwork techniques into daily practice and training programmes, Tracey’s clients have transformed their breathing habits to build confidence, improve resilience and sleep quality, reduce anxiety and stress, train for marathons and prepare to swim The English Channel.
Tracey is particularly interested in women’s breathing with medical evidence supporting how hormonal changes impact breathing patterns.
