Empowered Eating with Meditation and Yoga Nidra

Location: South Studio

Price to attend is £22 per person

For any questions please contact Julia Alderman: info@juliaalderman.com

As 2024 approaches this workshop is designed to offer you an alternative to the ‘New Year diet resolution’. If you are tired of fad diets, restrictive eating, conflicting nutrition advice and unrealistic body standards, then this workshop is for you.

Empowered eating shifts the focus from dogmatic diets to embracing flexibility, individuality and a sense of empowerment to make informed food choices based on your own body wisdom. The diet answers you are seeking can be found within and this workshop will teach you some practices on how to do this. You will learn:

·         A meditation practice to connect to your gut instincts

·         A breathing practice to stimulate relaxation before meals

·         A meditation practice using honey to soften and receive nourishment

·         A yoga nidra practice to tune into your body’s intelligence and intuition on food

It is through these meditation practices that you can access self-knowledge to begin to become your own authority on food. In the process you come back into deep relationship with your body, your unique needs and embrace a sustainable, joyful approach to eating.

No previous experience is necessary as the day will be designed to accommodate all levels.

Please bring the following with you if you are able to:

Yoga mat, bolster or pillow, blanket, eye covering and journal
