A gentle and yin-based practice to calm stress and anxiety with the option to receive reiki energy healing during the practice.
Learn partial tools to help calm the nervous system through gentle yoga, breathing techniques and energy work to promote calm and healing.
Suitable for beginners.
About reiki:
Reiki is an energy healing practice where the practitioner's hands are placed on or hovering over the body to support the flow of reiki healing energy to the student to support anxiety, better sleep, a feeling of rest and other stress-related symptoms.
This is completely optional in the yoga practice as its supports your healing.
Private reiki treatments are also available at The Retreat on a Friday between 10 am and 2 pm, please contact Michelle to book.
What to bring
It’s best to wear layers and bring cosy socks with you as your body temperature can fluctuate in more passive yin yoga poses.
You can bring any yoga props you have such as a bolster or blocks, if you don’t have any just bring a bed pillow and a blanket which make perfect props for yin.
There’s plenty of free parking available so you won’t need to carry them far!
