Ways To Be Mindful In Your Everyday & How To Meditate When Trying Makes You Anxious
Live mindfully, we’re told. Meditation helps stress, they tell us.
We know they’re right, but knowing where to start, and how to develop our skills, can feel overwhelming. Where do we start, what do I actually Do!?
And the overwhelm can lead us to give up because knowing where to start is just too stressful when you’re already living with anxiety and depression.
This is exactly where I was a few short years ago. Too angry to be mindful, too anxious to meditate - in fact the more I concentrated on relaxing, the faster my heart would pound!
Just awful.
And then I had an epiphany about how I was seeing my world. I saw things in a whole different way. And I suddenly saw appear in front of my eyes the steps that took me from a second of awareness at a time all the way to where I am now - able to sit with a quiet mind for 20 minutes - and if your still reading this you’ll understand that this feels like an amazing miracle.
Now I’m going to share my path - I’ve worked out the steps to make it easy for you to start, wherever you are now. I will introduce these methods in a way, and with explanations, that make complete sense. You can learn how simple changes of perspective can create big shifts in your world.
Three sessions are included:
One: How everyday mundane and frustrating events can be turned into to moments of peace and presence. With practices.
Two: How mindfulness and awareness of our emotional reactions can be changed to self-awareness, conscious communication and an improvement in our relationships, leading to a greater peace with our circumstances and choices.
Three: How the word meditation can be de-mystified and create space for us to see things clearly. We will practice at least 3 ways, and you will gain an understanding of just how many ways you can meditate – and why - even for a minute at a time, in a noisy crowd!
No whistles or bells, just practical advice to help you live your days more peacefully.
You’ll be held in a strong and boundaried way by me, Yolanda, a trained Somatic Attachment Therapist, Positive Intelligence & Conscious Life Coach and Circle Facilitator, with specialism in Conscious Communication & Relationships, and who creates safe spaces for self-inquiry and expression.
This 3-hr session includes a wellness bag full of information and goodies, and a gift that will anchor you in this practice long after the day.
If you’d like to book a meal for lunchtime, let me know and I can get you booked in to Colin Nash, or bring your own lunch to eat outside if the weather is kind.
