This Real Retreat Half-Day, with Yolanda Brooks of Letting the Light In, is for those ready to start the path of deep work. It can also be combined with another workshop, held in the afternoon, Ways to Be Mindful & How to Meditate.

Wild Words Workshop ~ Hearing Our Own Voices: a Somatic Writing Practice.

We can begin the path to resolving pain, confusion and trauma by giving your body a voice - because it is in our subconscious mind-body connection that our deepest, oldest memories are stored, not in our conscious minds.

We heal in layers.  Our mind resists because it wants to keep us stuck. But through the layers of our words we can begin to release something that our bodies know we need to heal.

Understand how words have shaped you, through meaning, memory and identity. We uncover subconscious patterns in playful ways and begin to notice where we do, or don’t, allow ourselves to hear our own beliefs, thoughts and emotions.

Be guided through a mind-body grounding to welcome you into the space of permission to rest and care for your beautiful Self.  And a transformative guided visualisation, a gentle journey to your re-find your deepest self.

We allow our subconscious messages to spill onto the page through the knowing our bodies.  You will be surprised how these words flow for you – you do not have to be a ‘writer’.  These words flow, if you allow them, without your interference! I have had teenagers and anxious guests asking for more time! It’s quite a special process, if you’re ready to feel the magic.

You’ll be held in a strong and boundaried way by me, Yolanda, a trained Somatic Attachment Therapist, Positive Intelligence & Conscious Life Coach and Circle Facilitator, with  specialism in Conscious Communication & Relationships, and who creates safe spaces for self-inquiry and expression.

The 3-hr session includes a wellness bag full of information and goodies, and a gift that will anchor you in this practice long after the day.
