Yin Yoga classes with Cheryl Edwards

A unique experience to restore body and mind using a combination of Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Myofascial Techniques. These classes offer the opportunity to unwind and release tension through long held poses, supported practices and the use of props.

Yin Yoga targets the deepest tissues of the body, the connective tissues, by gently holding passive floor-based stretches for up to five minutes, helping to improve flexibility and energy flow throughout the body. Restorative Yoga is a relaxing, restful practice that aims to restore the body’s natural capacity for health by regulating the stress response and re-balancing the nervous system. A helpful adjunct, Myofascial Release uses simple tools to apply pressure to commonly tight areas of the body to relieve tension or discomfort, and restore natural strength and mobility.

The perfect antidote to modern life, these sessions will enable you to mindfully explore, slow down, soften and simply ‘be'.

All levels are welcome.


Cheryl is a Registered Yoga Teacher and Advanced Yin Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. She is currently working towards her Senior Certification with Yoga Medicine as a YM Therapeutic Specialist. Passionate about using yoga as a form of medicine for the mind, body and spirit, Cheryl loves to share the practice and the numerous benefits it can bring to people's lives.


Class Price £10 per person
