A welcoming and friendly class, enabling you to build strength, increase flexibility, release tension, and create a sense of calm. Restore body and mind using a combination of yoga asanas (stretches and postures), mindful movement, breath work, and myofascial release techniques. These sessions end with a guided relaxation to leave you feeling nourished and refreshed. Open to all abilities, both beginners and experienced practitioners.
Cheryl is a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Medicine and a YM Registered Therapeutic Specialist. She started practicing yoga almost 20 years ago, which eventually blossomed into a passion for teaching. After years of dedicated practice, she completed Zenways Yoga Teacher's Training under Zen master Daizan Skinner and continued to train in Yin Yoga with Teachers Norman Blair and Sarah Lo.
She has since completed her 300hr Advanced level training with Yoga Medicine, covering modules in Orthopaedic Injury (Hip, Spine and Shoulder), Myofascial Release, Women's Health, Mental Health, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Meditation.
Cheryl is passionate about using yoga as a form of medicine for the mind, body and spirit. Inspired to support others to achieve healthier, stronger bodies, and calmer minds, she loves to share the practice and the numerous benefits it can bring to peoples lives and well-being.
