Mala Workshop

Held in the South Room

Price to attend £65 per person

Whilst travelling in Northern India I learnt the age old tradition of making beautiful malas. A mala is an ancient tool developed to keep the mind focused and clear from thoughts during Japa meditation, which can also be worn as a stunning piece of jewellery.

I invite you to relax and spend some calming hours with me learning how to make your own mala, while I share their history and teach you the skill of Japa meditation.

Your Mala Making Workshop will include:

  • A talk about the meaning and history of malas and the significance of number 108

  • Meditation to set your intention, before selecting your crystals

  • Design and make your own mala to keep. Crystals, seed beads, thread and material to make a tassel all provided

  • Learn and experience Japa meditation, using your mala

  • Duration is approximately 3.5 hours
