Pregnancy Yoga Class With Gail Taylor

A 4-week Pregnancy Yoga Course (suitable from 12 weeks) to nourish, relax and connect mamma-to-be.

Pregnancy is a special time and yoga offers the perfect way to restore and relax both body and mind. Whether this is your first time to yoga, or you are a seasoned yogi, this course offers the perfect way to connect with yourself and your growing baby.

Meet other mamas in a small and safe group as we move together to explore the many benefits of yoga in pregnancy.


Uplift & have fun

In the last session of the course, we hold a celebration at end of the class with non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and the chance to relax and get to know each other better.

This course is suitable for those over 12 weeks pregnant. No previous yoga experience is required to benefit from this course.


Course Dates:

  • Friday 7 January, 6:00pm - 7:00pm

  • Friday 14 January, 6:00pm - 7:00pm

  • Friday 21 January, 6:00pm - 7:00pm

  • Friday 28 January, 6:00pm - 7:00pm (we will end class with a celebration which may continue later)


Course Outline

  • Pregnancy yoga tailored to your individual pregnancy journey. Including support with common pregnancy challenges such as sleep disturbance, sickness, muscular and joint pain.

  • A space for calm and relaxation, with techniques and practices that support a good night’s sleep.

  • Connect to your baby with mantra, mudra and breath.

  • Birth support and tools including posture and breathwork to support you in labour.

  • Reduce stress and tension and find more physical and emotional balance.

  • Finding more space and ease with your body, allowing the breath to flow and allowing greater comfort and connection with your beautiful bump.

  • Pelvic floor education and accessible practices to use throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period.

  • Calming breathing practices that anchor you in your practice and can be used as lifelong tools.

  • Have fun –with uplifting practices and an end of course celebration with non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and an opportunity to unplug and build greater connection with your fellow mamas.

Your Teacher

Gail is an accredited Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga Teacher and Wellness Coach. She is a mother of twin girls and is passionate about supporting all parents in their birth pathway. She originally trained in India with world renowned Himalayan Master, Yogrishi Vishvketu (PhD), and draws on knowledge of the traditional practice of Hatha Yoga including posture, breathwork, relaxation, meditation techniques and philosophy. Through yoga, Gail aims to encourage more balance and connection with mind, body and breath, and encourage more calm.

Gail works closely with local practitioners in the birth pathways community to bring a holistic approach to birthing support.

When your pregnant you deserve the perfect space to nourish and replenish your body and mind. The Retreat New Forest is all about taking time out to rejuvenate and restore. A community space that is welcoming and nourishing for all. An escape from life’s hectic pace, situated in the beautiful New Forest, just a few miles from Christchurch & New Milton. The Retreat New Forest offers a beautiful space to practice and is home to the friendly, plant based Crowspotter café.
